What this article covers
This article provides instructions for resetting your password to log into the Humanforce mobile app, including:
- Why the app password is different
- The step-by-step reset process
- What to do if you have issues
Using a separate app password
You use a different password to log into the Humanforce mobile app versus the website. The app password is linked to the email address on your employee record, not your employee ID.

Resetting your website password does not change your app password, and vice versa. They need to be updated separately.
How to reset your app password
If you forgot your app password or are logging in for the first time, follow these steps to reset it:
- On the mobile app login screen, tap Forgot your password?
- Enter the email address associated with your Humanforce employee record and tap Reset Password.
- Check your email inbox for a message from "Humanforce - DO NOT REPLY <donotreply@humanforce.com>" with a temporary password reset code.
Note: The email may go to your spam/junk folder, so check there if not in your inbox.
- When you receive the code, go back to the app and enter it on the reset screen. Then tap Change Password.
It's important to keep the app open during the process and not minimize or close it. Doing so may take you back to the login screen, which won't accept the reset code.
- Enter a new password, confirm it, and tap Change Password to save.
- You'll be returned to the login screen. Enter your email and new password to log in successfully.
Still having issues?
If you have any troubles resetting your mobile app password, contact your manager right away for assistance.
They may need to confirm the email address on your employee record or log a ticket with Humanforce support.
Next steps
Once logged in, explore all the mobile app features like viewing schedules, clocking in/out, and requesting leave in the Mobile App Guide.
You can also change your app password again at any time from the Settings menu in the app.
