When a shift has been offered through Roster Offer, staff can accept or decline in one of three ways.
The first is if the shift is offered via SMS, the employee will be able to respond to the message directly from their phone.
The second way is for the employee to accept the shift through the Offers section in the mobile app. Swipe to accept or decline.
The final way for a staff member to accept a shift is for the employee to accept or decline by logging into Humanforce. Click on the blue question mark once to accept, twice to decline and then Submit
As a manager how do we decline a shift bid so the staff member is not left hanging
Thanks for your question. At this time, there isn't an option for a manager to decline a shift bid other than by accepting someone else's bid. It's a fantastic idea, and I have brought it to the attention of our Product team to consider.
All the best,

I've had a staff member accept a shift and then come back saying they actually need to decline. Am I able to remove them manually? From the employee rostering screen it's locked and I cannot see how to change it. Thanks!
Do you see the option in the employee roster to "Un-set read only" (lock icon)? See if after you do that if you can modify the shift:
If that doesn't work, let us know.
