The preferred method for leave requests is having the employee request leave through Humanforce or the App, however there will be some scenarios when the employee is unable to submit a leave request - whether it is during a Leave Black out or within the minimum days notice settings.
Go to Management >Employee Leave/Availability
The screen that shows is almost identical to the Leave/Availability screen in your Employee drop down. Click the Magnifier Glass to change employee leave & availability map.
Select employee, click Done
The leave/availability map will change to selected employee
Leave is entered the same as you would enter a request for yourself, refer How do I submit a leave request?
Note: it is recommended adding comments to leave request/approval for future reference
