Notice board messages can be used to notify employees of events, special offers and important information. Notice board messages can only be added in Humanforce Web, but can be viewed in both the web and mobile app. The following is a step-by-step guide on using this function.
Set Up
To ensure employees are able to view noticeboard and managers have the ability to create notice boards, permissions will need to be reviewed in both Access Levels and Nav Manager.
In Admin > Nav Manager, ensure Employee Notice Board is ticked (in ESS and possibly in Facial Recognition and/or Kiosk) so that employees can view the notice board.
In the Management section, make sure Notice Board is ticked for at least ESS so that managers can create the messages, then click Save at the bottom of the page.
In Admin > Access Level permissions, ensure the below permissions are selected:
- TimeTarget Online>View Notice Board Admin (Managers/Administrators Only)
- TimeTarget Online>View Notice Board announcements
Creating Notice Board Messages
To create the message, go to Management > Notice Board.
Select Add new record or UnDelete to republish old announcements.
On the screen that follows you can:
- Select the date range you would like your intended message to show.
- Select the Locations you would like the message to be visible to.
- Select the Departments you would like the message to be visible to.
- Construct the main body of your message. Note: you will need to do your formatting in the editor as HTML code is not accepted. Options when creating your message include:
- Inserting hosted images
- Creating hyperlinks
- Inserting bullet points
- Adding a table
- Bolding/Italicising/Underlining text
- Changing font, font size, and font colour
- Aligning text
- Attach any files you would like made visible to the employees. Note: the message will need to be saved prior to attaching files.
Select Save once completed.
Employees will be able to view notice boards through Employee >Notice Board or on the mobile app from the menu > Notice Board.
