This feature was released with version 10.3 of the mobile app and works best with
Humanforce version 4.7.2 and above.
The Mobile App Attendance Summary Dashboard is available to managers, and is accessed via the top left hand menu (just select 'Dashboard'). It will also be the first screen you see when you select 'Switch to Manager Mode'.
It gives the Manager a snapshot of what is happening right now in their department, and allows them to easily action exceptions such as employees who haven't turned up, late starters, and people who have clocked on without a roster.
The best way to describe how it functions is to use a simple scenario - a day on the life of a department in which 10 people are rostered to work from 9am to 5pm.
8 AM
We can see that there are 10 people rostered today. No-one has started work yet.
9 AM
5 of 10 rostered staff have clocked in and are now 'Working' (the green arc), while the remaining 5 are counted as 'No Start' (the thick red arc).
9.30 AM
4 of the 5 non-starters have arrived and clocked on. They are counted as Working but also in the category 'Late Start' (indicated in light blue).
10 AM
By 10 o'clock a non-rostered staff member has clocked on. They are also counted Working, and also as 'Non-Rostered (indicated in yellow).
With one tap, the manager can review the exceptions - who hasn't started, who was late, who is working without a roster. With another tap, they can take the appropriate action - find a replacement for the No Start, send a warning message to the Late Starts, call the Non-Rostered worker. (Why are they in today? Maybe covering for the No Start?)
In the screen below, tapping on the icons will show you a list of all people who fall into that category. Selecting someone from that list will give you the Message, Call and Find Replacement options.
6PM
The day is ended. The 10 people who worked have clocked off and are counted as 'Finished' (indicated in grey). The manager can still see the exceptions that have occurred, and take action if required.
