Two-factor authentication (2FA) can be enabled for the Humanforce mobile app for added security. In addition to logging in with your password, you will be sent a SMS message with a 6-digit code to use for that log in. This prevents someone using else from using your user name and password.
Enabling 2FA
In the menu, go to Settings > Security Settings.
Toggle Two factor authentication to on.
You will then need to enter your phone number. Make sure you follow the instructions for formatting by starting the phone number with + and the country code.
After clicking Enable, you will receive a message with a code to complete the linking. Enter the code and tap Next to finish setting 2FA up.
Disabling 2FA
Return to the Security Settings, but this time toggle Two factor authentication to off.
You will receive one last code by SMS to confirm that it is your request to remove this setting. Enter the code and tap Next to disable 2FA.
Changing the phone number
If you need to change your phone number, you will see this option in Security Settings under the Two factor authentication option.
You will still receive a message at the phone number you are removing to confirm that it is your request that the phone number is updated. After unlinking the phone number, you can then enter and confirm the new number you'd like to use.
