Follow this guide to configure your business entities in Humanforce HR to enable automatic collection of bank, tax and superannuation details as part of the onboarding process in Australia.
To help our customers streamline their onboarding processes, we've partnered with SuperAPI Pty Ltd to collect and validate bank, tax, and superannuation details in Australia. SuperAPI operates as a subprocessor of Humanforce and is covered under our Privacy Policy.
This article applies to Australian entities using Humanforce HR Onboarding.
Part 1: Create a new business entity
Go to Settings > All settings > Business entities.
Click Create Business Entity.

Set the Country to Australia.
Additional required fields will appear: Name, Legal Name, Business Number (ABN), Onboarding email alerts.
If applicable, include a Branch number in the format
<ABN>-<branch_number>
e.g.51824753556-099
Click Create and continue.
You’ll be redirected to the onboarding configuration page for Australian entities.

Complete the Humanforce HR AU: Onboarding setup:
Enter your default Superannuation Fund (may differ by business entity).
Configure the ATO connection to enable automated TFN Declarations and Super Stapling.
You may need to ask a colleague with ATO access to complete this step.

Enable any optional automations as needed;
Automated Super Stapling
Activate Tax File Number Declarations.
Wait until all sections show a green status, then click Return to business entities.

On the Business Entities overview page, check the Country-specific onboarding column:
✅ Australia setup complete indicates full configuration.
❌ Australia setup incomplete or Australia setup needs attention means additional action is required.
Part 2: Edit an existing business entity
Go to Settings > All settings > Business entities.
Find the relevant business entity and click the options menu (⋯).
Select Edit.

Set the Country to Australia and complete the required fields:
Name
Legal Name
Business Number (ABN) - If applicable, include a Branch number in the format
<ABN>-<branch_number>e.g.51824753556-099Onboarding email alerts
Click Save and continue to access the onboarding setup page.

Follow the same steps as above to configure:
Default super fund
ATO connection
Optional automations
Once all sections are marked green, click Return to business entities and confirm setup status.
