This article explains how to use the QR code in the Humanforce Work mobile app to clock in for your shift at an on-site kiosk or tablet.
Generate the QR Code
- Open the Humanforce Work mobile app and go to the Clocking screen or More >Profile screen.
- Tap the yellow QR code icon next to the "Start Work" button.
- This will open a screen displaying a QR code that refreshes every 3 seconds.
Clock In at the Kiosk
- At the kiosk/tablet, hold up your mobile device to the webcam so it can scan your QR code.
- This will log you in to the kiosk using your mobile app credentials.
Note: You may need to enable webcam access for the kiosk software.
- If you are rostered for a shift, the kiosk screen will prompt you to confirm and "Start Work".
- If not rostered, you'll need to select your location, department, role, etc. before starting the shift.
Do Not Start Shift in Mobile App
Once you've clocked in at the kiosk using the QR code, do NOT also tap "Start Work" in your mobile app. This could result in a duplicate shift started.
Troubleshooting
If you have any issues generating the QR code, check that you have:
- The latest version of the mobile app
- Granted the app camera permissions
If the kiosk webcam is not detecting the QR code, contact your manager or IT.
