Follow this guide to clock in for your shift using a QR code from the Humanforce Work mobile app. This lets you log in quickly at a kiosk or tablet without entering your employee code or password.
QR clocking is only available if your organisation has enabled it in kiosk settings and access permissions. If you don’t see the QR option, contact your manager.
Steps
- Open the
Humanforce Work app on your mobile device.
- Go to the
Clocking screen or
Profile screen.

More > Profile.

- Tap the yellow QR code icon
.
- A live QR code will appear and refresh every few seconds.
- At the kiosk, hold your phone up to the webcam.
- The kiosk will scan your QR code and log you in.
- Tap
Start Work to begin your shift.
- If you are not rostered, you’ll be prompted to select your shift details before starting.
- When your shift ends, return to the kiosk and scan your QR code again to
Clock Out.
Do not tap Start Work in the app if you clock in via the kiosk. This may create a duplicate shift.
Additional information
- The QR code refreshes every 3 seconds to maintain security.
- Do not take a screenshot of the QR code; it must be active when scanned.
- The kiosk must have webcam access enabled to scan QR codes.
- If you cannot generate a QR code:
- Check you have the latest version of the Humanforce Work app.
- Ensure the app has camera access on your device.
- If the kiosk cannot scan your code, contact your manager or IT support.
