The Data Import / Export Tool allows you to quickly and easily upload bulk data to your intelliHR platform. Create Roles lets you perform all of the actions you are able to do on the Workforce Planning page but in bulk, and allows you to create multiple Roles at once.

Create Roles lets you perform all of the actions you are able to do on the Create Roles Page in Organisation >> Workforce Planning. These actions can be broken down into the following categories:
1. Creating Roles.
2. Assigning Roles requirements; for example, acceptable position titles, maximum job fte and total jobs.
How to Use the Data Import / Export Tool
1. Navigate to Settings >> All Settings
2. Under Platform click on Data Import / Export
3. To start a new import click Start an Import
4. Name your import with the details of data being inputted.
5. Press Upload
6. Select Upload Type (Create Establishment)
7. Select Help Guide: Create Roles Import
8. Read the guide on the creation (pay special attention to the Supported Columns to understand which columns/field are required and the format they must be added in) and select Download Example
7. Complete all required field and upload the relevant CSV file.
8. Click Next >> Save
9. Begin import by selecting Start Processing.
10. Confirm
Once your import has successfully completed you will see the screen shown below.
