Follow this guide to create a new one-to-one or group chat and send messages using the Chat page in Humanforce WFM.
Steps

Open the Chat page
Navigate to Employee > Messages > Chat (new) in Humanforce WFM. -
Click + New > Chat
This opens the new chat creation panel. -
Search for users
Begin typing a name into the search bar to select one or more users manually. -
Apply filters to narrow the user list (optional)
Click the filter icon to filter by:-
Region
-
Location
-
Department
-
Role
-
Pay company
After applying filters, you must still select users individually.

Review selected users
All chosen users will appear in the bar at the top of the window. -
Click Create
A new chat window will open with the selected users. The chat will also appear in the left panel of the screen. -
Type and send your message
Use the text field at the bottom to type your message. You can also:-
Add emojis

Attach files (e.g. PDFs, images, videos)

Insert GIFs using the GIF icon and search feature

View replies and history
New replies from participants will appear in the left panel. Click any chat to open it and view the full conversation history.
Additional Information and Specifications

This feature supports both one-to-one and multi-user direct messaging.

All chat participants can view the full message history.

Broadcast messages are not currently supported but will be added in a future release.
