Follow this guide to update the settings of an existing event notification in Humanforce HR. You can adjust recipients, content, or delivery methods, but the event type cannot be changed once saved.
Steps
Go to Settings > Notifications.
Find the notification you want to update, then click the three-dot menu on the right.
Click Edit.
Update the name or filters as needed.
You can change target recipients, email templates, and notification content.
You cannot change the event type. To use a different event type, create a new notification.
Review the updated configuration and click Submit.
When saved, your changes take effect immediately for all future events.
Additional information
If the notification was disabled, you’ll need to enable it after editing for the notification to become active.
Click on the notification’s name in the table to view a summary of its current settings.
Editing a notification does not affect historical notifications already sent.
Users with limited access may not be able to complete this task. Contact your administrator.
