Follow this guide to manage processed leave requests in the Humanforce Work or Humanforce (Legacy) mobile app.
Managers can unauthorise leave to allow edits or delete leave requests entirely, restoring balances and removing any associated timesheets.
Part 1: Unauthorise a leave request
Use unauthorise when a leave request has already been approved but needs to be changed (for example, the employee selected the wrong leave type or dates).
- Open the Humanforce mobile app.
- In the
Work app, go to
Manager > Approvals.
- In the
Legacy app, go to
Menu >
Switch to Manager Mode >
Approvals.
- In the
- Open the Processed view to see requests that are already approved, pre-approved, or declined.
- In the
Work app, open the dropdown and select the
Approved or X Declined view.
- Note: Cancelled leave cannot be unauthorised.
- In the
- Locate the employee’s leave request.
- Use
Filter to narrow by location, department, or role.
- Use the
Search bar to find a specific employee.
- Use
- (Optional) Add a Manager comment. The employee will receive a notification with the comment.
- Tap
Unauthorise.
The leave request moves from Processed back to Unprocessed, ready to be edited and resubmitted.
Part 2: Delete a leave request
Use delete when a leave request is no longer needed. Deleting also restores the employee’s leave balance and removes any associated timesheets.
- Open the Humanforce mobile app.
- In the
Work app, go to
Manager > Approvals.
- In the
Legacy app, go to
Menu >
Switch to Manager Mode >
Approvals.
- In the
- Open the Processed view.
- In the
Work app, open the dropdown and select the
Approved or X Declined view.
- In the
- Locate the employee’s leave request.
- Use
Filter to narrow by location, department, or role.
- Use the
Search bar to find a specific employee.
- Use
- Tap
Delete.
- Confirm your action when prompted.
The leave request is permanently removed, the employee’s leave balance is updated, and any associated timesheets are deleted.
Additional information
- Leave management is permission-based. If you don’t see the Approvals option, contact your Humanforce administrator.
- Deleting a leave request cannot be undone.
- If an employee still requires leave after deletion, they will need to submit a new request.
