Follow this guide to move and resize visuals on a dashboard in Humanforce Analytics, so your layout suits how you want to read and present your data.
Before you start
- You need Dashboard Publisher access to edit a dashboard. If you can only view dashboards, you won't see the Edit option.
- These changes are made in Edit mode. For more on entering Edit mode and adding elements, see Add tabs, filters and notes to a dashboard.
Steps
- Click the meatball icon (⋯) in the upper-right corner of the dashboard, then select Edit. The dashboard opens in Edit mode.
- Click the visual you want to move or resize.
- To move the visual, click and hold to grab it, then drag it to your preferred location.
- To resize the visual, click and hold an edge or corner, then drag:
- Drag a corner to resize the visual while keeping its proportions.
- Drag the top or bottom edge to make it shorter or taller.
- Drag the left or right edge to make it narrower or wider.
- Click Save.
Your visual stays in its new position and size, and the updated layout displays to anyone viewing the dashboard.
Additional information
- Drag from a corner when you want to keep a chart in proportion — this avoids stretching or squashing the visual.
- Humanforce is highly configurable, so you may not have the permissions or access needed to perform this task. Reach out to your IT Helpdesk or System Administrator to check your permission settings and licensing arrangements.
