As a manager how do we decline a shift bid so the staff member is not left hanging

    Hi Tina!

Thanks for your question. At this time, there isn't an option for a manager to decline a shift bid other than by accepting someone else's bid. It's a fantastic idea, and I have brought it to the attention of our Product team to consider.

    All the best,

I've had a staff member accept a shift and then come back saying they actually need to decline. Am I able to remove them manually? From the employee rostering screen it's locked and I cannot see how to change it. Thanks!

    Hi Tyler,

Do you see the option in the employee roster to "Un-set read only" (lock icon)? See if after you do that if you can modify the shift:

If that doesn't work, let us know.

    Hi, Guys,

Some time employees accept shifts and later decline. Is there any way to know those staff who declined the shifts after accepting it.

    Regards

    Nik

    Hi Nik,

You may be referring to the Shift Bidding functionality where an employee can withdraw a Bid from a Shift.

More information regarding the Shift Bidding process is available via https://help.humanforce.com/hc/en-au/articles/5497383979919-How-do-I-use-Shift-Bidding-

If an employee accepts a Shift Offer, they are unable to withdraw the acceptance and will need to contact their manager if they can no longer work the shift they accepted.

    Kind regards,
    Trent
