Clocking when rostered
If the employee has been rostered to work and logs into the kiosk, the clock in screen will automatically be populated with the details entered in the roster. Select Start Work to begin the shift.
Clocking when not rostered
If an employee comes into work on a day they are not rostered, they will be presented with the clock in screen stating they have not been rostered to work at this time. The employee can then enter in the Location, Department, and Role they are working. The clock in screen can also be configured to include Area, Event, or Function fields, if needed.
Once entered, select the Start Work button. This will start a shift for the employee under their selected location, department, and role. The timesheet created will need to be approved by a manager.
Permissions
Clocking in when not rostered is an Access Level permission that can be turned off.
If you do not allow clocking in when not rostered, the employee will not have a Start Work button when they log in.
