Follow this guide to sign in to a kiosk and clock in or out for your shift using Humanforce WFM (Web).
Sign in to the kiosk
Before you can clock in or out, you must sign in at the kiosk. Your organisation may use one or more of the following sign-in methods:
- PIN/Password – Sign in using your employee code and password.
- QR Code – Scan a QR code from the Humanforce Work App.
- Facial Recognition – Use face recognition for quick sign-in.
- Finger Vein Scanner – Scan your finger for secure biometric sign-in.
- Check-In Mode – Tap to check in using your location or wristband.
Once signed in, follow the steps below based on whether you're rostered or not.
Part 1: Start your shift
If you're rostered for a shift
- Sign in at the kiosk.
- Your rostered Location, Department, and Role will be pre-filled.
- Click
Start Work to clock in.
You’ll now be marked as clocked in for your shift.
If you're not rostered
- Sign in at the kiosk.
- A message will appear: You have not been rostered to work at this time.
- Select your Location, Department, and Role manually.
- Additional fields such as Area, Event, or Function may appear depending on your setup.
- Click
Start Work to clock in.
A shift is created using your selected details and will require manager approval.
Part 2: Finish your shift
- Sign back in at the kiosk.
- (Optional) If enabled,
Add Comment before completing your shift.
- Some organisations may require a comment before clocking out. You’ll be prompted if this applies.

- Click
Clock Out.

Once your shift is in progress, you can:

- If the Allow Non-Rostered Clock-In permission is not enabled, you won’t see a Start Work button when not rostered.
