What does the integration do?

The integration between Humanforce WFM and MYOB facilitates the transfer of crucial employee data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in workforce management.

Here's what the integration accomplishes:

• Employee Personal Details:

  • Humanforce WFM to MYOB

    • New employee profiles and updates to existing profiles in Humanforce WFM will be sent to MYOB.
  • MYOB to Humanforce WFM
    • • Newly created employees and updates made to the employee's details in MYOB are sent to Humanforce in a bulk sync that can be scheduled or manually run through Integration Central (IC).
      • Terminations entered in MYOB will sync to Humanforce WFM.

• Employee Leave Balances:

  • MYOB to Humanforce WFM
    • After payroll finalisation, leave balances updated in MYOB can be synced to Humanforce WFM.

Prerequisites

Before proceeding with the integration, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

• Humanforce Cloud Customer: This integration is exclusive to Humanforce Cloud customers.
• Access to MYOB: Access credentials to access MYOB are required with comprehensive permissions to facilitate data exchange between the platforms.
• Source of Truth: MYOB serves as the primary repository for employee data, unless using intelliHR (iHR) or Humanforce WFM onboarding.
• Change Approvals: The "Changes Require Approval" permission must be enabled for changes to flow via the Change Approvals page into MYOB.

Integration Setup

API Documentation

The integration utilises AccountRight API for the integration of employee data between MYOB and Humanforce WFM. Both AccountRight and Essentials use the AccountRight API. Please refer MYOB API developer portal (MYOB Developer Centre).

Integration Workflow

Follow these steps to set up the integration between Humanforce WFM and MYOB:

1. Prepare your data:

• In WFM: Create access levels, clock-in settings, qualification types, visa types, employment types, award profiles, and other relevant configurations.
• In Both Systems: Create public holidays, pay rates, pay types, and leave types. Match gender, title, locations, departments, roles and pay company in both WFM and MYOB.

2. Set up integration:

• Complete payroll company setup in WFM > Admin > Payroll companies.
• Set up the integration in WFM > Integration Central.

• Test the connection and resolve any errors.

3. Configure mapping:

• Enable relevant employee import options for accurate data transfer.
  • Enable leave balance sync and complete mapping.
  • Configure new employee default mapping options.
• Enable employee upload options for accurate data transfer.
• Schedule integration (if required).

4. Review and Troubleshoot:

• Monitor the import log and address any errors for a successful data transfer.

Note: 
- The MYOB DisplayID field must match the Humanforce PayrollCode in order for this integration to operate as intended.
- MYOB DisplayID is often referred to as CardID within MYOB.

The table below outlines the field mapping between Humanforce WFM and HR3.

Employee Leave Balances

Leave balances are updated with each integration task run, provided the employee PayrollCode matches the MYOB DisplayID.

When enabled, a Leave mapping interface will be displayed as below.
Ensure the MYOB leave types are correctly selected to match the relevant Humanforce WFM Shift Type so that leave balances can be imported.

Note, shift types must be setup with accruals enabled from an external source.
