Follow this guide to create goals using goal templates in Humanforce HR.
Goal templates help you save time and create consistent goals across your organisation. Each template includes a pre-filled goal name, description, category, and measurement criteria, which you can edit after selection.
Part 1: Create a goal using a goal template
From the Dashboard, navigate to the My Active Goals tile and select Set a Goal.
Alternatively, use the Quick Create menu on the top menu or go to My Profile > Goals.Click Create Goal.
Select a Template from the drop-down list.
Review the pre-filled goal details, including the name, description, category, and measurements.
Edit and fill in the remaining goal details as required.
Click Save or Submit for approval.
If your organisation uses Goal Approvals, when the goal is submitted, its approval status is set to Submitted, awaiting approval and is visible on the goal page, the Goals section of your profile, and the dashboard. Once approved, the status updates to Approved and the goal owner is notified.
Part 2: Create a goal for a direct report using a goal template
Navigate to the relevant employee's profile
Open the Goals tab.
Click Create Goal.
Select a Goal template from the drop-down list.
Review and edit the goal details as required.
Click Save.
Goals created by a supervisor for a direct report are automatically approved and are immediately visible to the employee.
