Follow this guide to review, approve, decline, or update goals submitted by your direct reports in Humanforce HR.
Managers can review goals submitted by their team and either approve them as-is, decline them with feedback, or make updates before finalising the decision.
Part 1: Approve or decline an employee’s goal
Go to one of the following locations:
Dashboard > Team’s Current Goals
Employee profile > Goals
Open the goal using the link in your notification email
Open the goal you want to review.
Review the goal details.
At the top of the page, select Approve or Decline.
Enter a comment if you want to provide feedback to your direct report. This comment is visible the next time they access the goal.
Confirm your action.
When you approve or decline the goal, the employee is immediately notified.
Part 2: Edit a goal before approving or declining
You can make changes to a goal before completing the approval process if required.
Open the goal using the steps in Part 1.
Select Edit at the top of the page.
Update the relevant fields, as needed. You may edit:

Add multiple measurements if required
Comments explaining your changes
Choose how to save your changes:
• Select Save Goal to save changes without approving or declining.
• Select Save and Approve to save changes and approve the goal.
• Select Save and Decline to save changes and decline the goal.
If you approve or decline the goal at this point, the employee is notified immediately.
