When generating a Performance Report Card on an employee’s profile there are several elements all retrieving data from specific areas of the system. The purpose of this article is to highlight where the information is being pulled from.
Knowing where the information originates may also influence how you decide to use key areas of the platform (e.g. Diary Notes) depending on what you want to see in the report card.

The Performance Report Card
At a high-level view, this Report Card draws on information supplied by both the employee, their manager and peers over the defined time frame. The information contained in this report can include:
- Feedback forms completed by Employees (Happiness, achievements and other feedback)
- Supervisor feedback forms completed by Managers (Performance notes, ratings and feedback)
- Training events recorded on the employees’ profile (Investment and Summary)
- Goals on the employee’s profile (Status, summary and most recent comments)
- Any active Formal Performance Management Processes
- Any Diary Notes completed by Managers
- Progress Summary of Direct Reports (if relevant)
Performance Report Details:
Displays the following information:
- Employee the report relates to
- The job the report relates to
- The supervisor of that employee
- Dates covered by the report
Tip: The intended viewer is displayed at the top right
Performance Ratings:
Uses quantitative data collected from employee and supervisor to graphically display performance details.
- Can capture averages or individual dimensions
- Visualise the alignment of performance expectations
- Supervisor/Employee/ Peer ratings can be compared
- Can be customised to display desired data (speak to your customer success manager for help amending the metrics)
Happiness:
Displays the happiness rating scores the employee has provided within the reporting period.
- Time based data points allows supervisors to associate the scores within the context of the business at that point.
- Based on the completed responses provided through form instances (individual rating and text-based responses shown below the 'Happiness Over Time' graph).
Training:
Captures all training events added during the reporting period.
- Displays the cumulative financial investment on the employee's training over time
- Shows a summary of hours spent training each month.
- Displays individual training events
Goals:
Captures all goals active during the reporting period.
- Shows a summary of goals by progress status
- Displays the goal measurements and category for each individual goal
- Summarises achievements and area of improvement to inform performance discussions
Section to Display Text-Based Responses:
You can configure as many text-based answer sections as you would like to suit your business needs. Text-based response sections can be configured to display responses to one or more form items (questions) in specified form designs.
- Displays every response to target form items/questions.
- Provides a timeline of each response and the date it was created
- Links back to the relevant completed form in which the responses have been pulled from
Performance Improvement Plans:
- Captures all active performance improvement plans during the reporting period.
Warning - This section is hard-coded to display this information (if present)
Notes:
Captures Manager feedback and Diary Notes during the reporting period.
- Diary Notes are automatically included
- Responses to other Form items can be included
Direct Reports:
Summarises the employee’s direct reports (if any):
- Provides an insight into the progress of direct reports
- View the average happiness of your team over time
- Displays the average happiness of each team member
- The goal completion rate and total training hours of team members
- View the overall goal completion rate of your team

Wellness:
The Wellness section can be added at any time to your Performance Report and works similarly to the Happiness section. This section displays the wellness rating scores the employee has provided within the reporting period.
- Time based data points allows supervisors to associate the scores within the context of the business at that point.
- Based on the completed responses provided through form instances (individual rating and text-based responses shown below the 'Wellness' graph).
Performance Report Elements
Performance Reports summarise a wide range of information related to an employee’s role.
Some of these sections are customisable to display information you choose, others are already set up to present key performance details.
