The Performance Reports allow you to collate and interpret data from many different areas of the system including Goals, Diary Notes, Forms and Happiness that have been submitted over the course of the period. This is a way for employees to provide feedback, request training and set goals, while key metrics to identify trends, opportunities or improvement can be tracked. Please note, that the performance report is highly configurable. Your own performance report may or may not include some or all of the below, highlighted sections.

What's in my Performance Report?
The Performance Report is made up of seven sections that pull through from performance, happiness, training, goals, achievements, direct reports and role evaluation. These are the default sections; your organisation may have a different configuration.
Here is a list of sections that can be included in a performance report and where the data comes from:
- Average Overall Performance (Radar Chart) - Display of overall performance rating details. Uses quantitative (numbers based) data collected from the employee through feedback forms.
- Performance Over Time - A breakdown of the individual metrics displayed on the radar chart above. Each data point (response relevant to the metric) will be plotted on the chart to show your performance over time against that specific metric.
- Happiness Over Time - Displays the happiness rating scores the employee has provided within the reporting period. Based on the completed responses provided (individual rating and text-based responses) show the 'Happiness Over Time' graphically.
- Training - Captures all training events added during the reporting period and displays the cumulative financial investment on the employee's training over time, along with a summary of hours spent training each month and displays individual training events. This information is pulled directly from the training tab on your profile.
- Goals - Captures all goals active during the reporting period, including progress status, measurements and achievements. This information is pulled directly from the goals tab on your profile.
- Achievements - Summarises your responses to the question, "what have you achieved recently that you're proud of" in check ins and any other text responses your organisation has configured to pull through.
- Direct Reports - Captures direct reports' (if the employee has any) happiness, training and goal performance. Captures summary of information on each person's profile.
- Employee Wellness - Displays the wellness ratings provided by you if your organisation is requesting this information from you within the reporting period via intelliHR forms.
Tip: Your performance report allows you to monitor your progress. The more you participate in your company's processes, eg. check ins, updating goals, the more valuable this page will be, for yourself and your manager.
How to Interpret and Read your Performance Report
The performance report is full of data that can be can be viewed at any time. The performance report allows you to see your progress through all stages of your employment and role. Each section of the performance report provides you with insight into a different aspect of your progress. You can also use it to have conversations with your supervisor.
Below we will provide insight into how you can interpret and read the default sections on your performance report.
Average Overall Performance - This chart displays a summary of how you're tracking against key business metrics. These scores come from ratings you have provided about yourself in forms. These responses will pull through on the chart with the points of each metric reflecting the average response given over the course of the time frame. This chart displays average values gathered over the period that the performance report covers. This chart will show you areas you excel and opportunities for improvement.
Please note, productivity, quality, teamwork, compliance and values are default intelliHR metrics, however your company may have other measures of performance configured.
Performance Over Time - This chart that shows individual scores of metrics provided over time. As you complete performance ratings over time, this will give you an idea of how your performance is trending.
Happiness Over Time - A visual display of your happiness over time. Captures each response to the happiness rating question on check in forms. It will show responses given over time on each chart along with a description of why the rating has been provided if a description has been given. The happiness over time metric can be used as a reflection point to see what aspects of your role provide happiness or any aspects that may be a pain point requiring assistance or training. Pay attention to high or low points and reflect on what was happening during that period.
Training - Pulls through any completed training records completed over the reporting period. The section will provide insight into total investment in terms of time, material costs of training courses, and number of hours completed over last year with a breakdown of each training record. This allows you to keep track of any training courses you have completed and allows you to see the training your company has invested in you individually. Training can correlate directly to performance. This is a great way to keep track of if you require more training or any feedback on training courses.
Goals - Breakdown of any active goals listed on your profile. The section will show a breakdown of each goal and their measurements, alongside a snap shot of overall completion rate, number of goals completed on time, number of goals completed after the due date and goals that are currently overdue. Goals can be used as an overview to see how you're tracking and what goals you have committed to. Goals can be used to keep you on track to achieve better performance.
Achievements - Pulls through the response from the "What have you achieved most recently that you're proud of" question, on the monthly check in form. Responses will show in a chronological timeline. Your achievements can be used as key milestones in performance to keep you on track. Research shows sharing achievements with your supervisor or team members keeps you engaged, more productive and fulfilled. Celebrate your wins with your team to encourage your growth as an employee.
Direct Reports - If you have direct reports, this section will provided a snapshot of your direct reports' happiness scores, completed or overdue goals and any training costs they have completed over last year. This helps in tracking your direct reports' improvements and a very high-level overview of the performance of those you are leading.
Employee Wellness - A chart based on the wellness check question pulled through from form responses provided through thumbs up, thumbs down or okay icons. These responses will present in a historical reference over past period alongside the reasoning behind these answers (if description is provided). Again these metrics can be used as a reflection point to see how you have progressed through your role, and as context to your overall performance report.
