Dashboard Action Tiles on intelliHR are dashboards that can be seen on the home screen when you first log in to intelliHR. These are customisable and individual to each intelliHR customer. The creation and maintenance of these customisable dashboards are owned by you providing you with the ability to create those that will have the most impact on your business. The visibility of these dashboard tiles can now be limited to specific groups such as managers within your business ensuring the home screen remains clean and relevant to the end user.
The aim of this overview is to provide a brief explanation of how administrators can control the visibility of the dashboard action tiles ensuring the dashboard is customised not only to your business but also to different groups within the business.
How to control who can and cannot see dashboard action tiles
When creating dashboard action tiles there will be some tiles that are specific and relevant to only certain segments of your employees; for example, tiles that should only be seen by managers. These tiles' permissions can be set when creating and editing the dashboard action tile.
To set the visibility of a dashboard action tile:
When creating a new tile and when editing an existing tile you will arrive at the visibility page below before being able to create the tile.
The three options are:
- Everyone - as soon as the tile is live it will be visible to all employees
- Filtered - the dashboard tile will only be visible to people who match the filters you choose; for example, only including people with direct reports will ensure the tile is only visible to managers.
Tiles can be made available to people in specific entities, locations, business units and/or pay grades.
Filtered >> People (Change) >> Check (Only Include People with Direct Reports) >> Save
- Hidden - the dashboard action tile will be hidden from everyone; however, users with the tile URL can still navigate to the action page. You can use the tile URLs in form designs and event notifications to create custom processes.
