Follow this guide to create and customise the Mobile Push notifications and/or SMS sent to workers when sending out roster confirmations or shift offers via Humanforce Web.
If you are familiar with Setup > Roster Send Templates in the Back Office, this feature replaces that functionality in Humanforce Web.
Steps
- Go to Admin > Admin Config > Roster Send Templates.
- Click Add New Roster Send Template (top right corner).
- Enter a name for the template.
- Select the type:
- SMSOFFER (for SMS notifications)
- PUSHOFFER (for push notifications)
- (Optional) Click Get Default Template to use the standard Humanforce template as a starting point.
- Customise the Template Content as needed.
- Click Show Tags to view available shift details to include.
- Click Preview to check formatting and ensure there are no unresolved tags.
- Click Save to finalise the template.
When successfully configured, your template will be available as an option in the Fill Shift window when offering shifts.
Humanforce is highly configurable, so you may not have the required permissions to perform this task. Contact your IT Helpdesk or System Administrator to check your permission settings and licensing arrangements.

Additional Information
- Troubleshooting: If unresolved tags appear (e.g.,
[ROLENAME]
), try placing them between [DOW1-BEGIN] and [DOW1-END]. - Note: Basic HTML knowledge is recommended for customisation.
