The Leave Accrual Summary page allows you to view an employee’s leave balances, review the transactions that contributed to those balances, and add manual adjustments when required.
Permissions Required
To access the Leave Accrual Summary page, the following permission must be enabled:
Availability Authorisation → Access to Leave Accruals → Allow editing
Access the Leave Accrual Summary
Navigate to Management → Availability → Staff Availability.
Locate and select the employee.
At the end of the employee’s availability row, click the ⋯ (More options) menu.
Select Leave balance summary.
The Leave Accrual Summary page will open in a new screen.
View Leave Balance for a Different Date
You can view an employee’s leave balance as of a specific date.
Use the date picker at the top of the page.
Select the date you want to view.
If leave projections are enabled, you can also view projected leave balances for future dates.
Add or Edit a Leave Adjustment
You can manually adjust an employee’s leave balance when required.
Select the relevant shift type.
Click + Adjust Leave.
In the Adjust Leave Balance pop-up:
Enter the adjustment amount.
Select the date of the adjustment.
Optionally add a comment.
Click Save.
Adjustment rules
Positive numbers add leave (accrual).
Negative numbers deduct leave.
Additional Details
The adjustment field shows whether the leave unit is Hours or Days.
New adjustments default to today’s date.
When editing an adjustment, the original adjustment date is displayed.
Comments are optional but recommended for audit purposes.
After saving, the transaction list and leave balance summary automatically refresh to reflect the changes.
