Follow this guide to set a minimum number of days’ notice for leave or availability requests in Humanforce WFM (Web). This controls how far in advance employees must submit requests, based on their access level.
Changing this setting affects when employees are allowed to submit new leave or availability requests. Requests that fall inside the minimum notice period will be blocked.
Steps
- Go to Admin > Security Config > Access Levels.
- Select Edit next to the access level you want to update.
- On the General tab, locate Availability change min. days notice.
- Enter the number of days’ notice required.
- For example, entering
28means requests must be submitted at least 28 days in advance. - Enter
0to disable the restriction.
- For example, entering
- Select Save to apply the change.
Employees assigned to this access level can only submit leave or availability requests that meet the minimum notice period you configured.
Additional information
- This setting applies per access level, allowing different rules for employees, supervisors, or managers.
- The restriction applies to both leave requests and availability changes.
- Access levels are assigned on the employee profile under the Employment tab.
