Leave accrual projections can be used to accrue leave in Humanforce or to project the leave accrual in Humanforce.
Required permissions
- View the Humanforce Administration section:
- TimeTarget Online > View Administration Section
- View and edit Shift Types:
- Maintenance Screens > Shift Types > Allow editing
- View and edit Shift Type Settings
- Maintenance Screens > Shift Type Settings > Allow editing

Note: You can check your own access level by going to your employee profile, under the
Employment tab.
If you cannot see the Access Levels option in your Humanforce Admin screen, you will
need assistance from an administrator of Humanforce within your organisation to have your
permissions adjusted.
Creating a specific Shift Type Setting
To setup leave accrual projections in Humanforce, go to Admin > Award Config > Shift Types Settings.
Click Add New Record to create a new group.
Name the Group and click Settings against the newly created Shift Type Settings to begin defining the accrual rates for different leave types like annual, personal, etc.
Click Add New Record to create a shift type accrual.
The projection is usually based on the defined rate (in hours) with calculation method of per pay or per year. The accrual rate can also be based on a per hour value. In the case of per hour value, learn more about how this is calculated with Leave Projection Per Hour Calculation.
Assigning the leave projection to an employee profile
To display the leave projection when employees are viewing their leave balances or applying for leave, you need to choose the Leave Accrual setting against an employee profile.
Go to Management > Employee > Employee Management and select an employee.
Navigate to the Employment tab of an employee and select the relevant value from the drop-down within the Leave Accrual field.
