A range of General Ledger Reports are available via RMS, which are listed below.
| Report Name | Description |
| GL Audit By Account | Allows you to analyse General Ledger postings by account |
| GL Audit By Cost Centre | Analyse General Ledger postings by cost centre |
| GL Balancing Aid | To assist in identifying imbalances within the General Ledger |
| GL Control | Displays pay runs used in this GL period and whether GL net is equal to net pay in those payroll processes |
| GL Posting Journal | The vanilla version of the General Ledger postings. These transactions can be extracted in excel format using the Merlin data extraction tool for upload into finance systems. |
To access a General Ledger report:
- Go to RMS > RMS View By Process
- In the drop-down fields, select the relevant Payroll and Financial Year End period
- In the List of Pay Processes, click on the relevant Pay Process (that has General Ledger in the Process Type column)
- Click on the report to download it.
