Organisation Objectives are the strategic goals of your organisation. Set by leadership teams but visible to all team members the org objectives allow you to provide a clear roadmap of the strategic goals of your business to all employees. Providing transparency and consistency for all employees the use of org objectives will assist all members of your organisation with a clear picture of the business aims and how they can align their own goals to drive organisational excellence. This article will provide a brief introduction to the feature with links to specific guides on how to create and manage the organisational objectives.
What are Organisation Objectives?
In their simplest form organisation objectives are effectively the strategic goals of the business for a set time period, such as the current fiscal year.
Providing transparency to your organisation about the business aims is essential to ensure departmental and individual goals are created in order to help the business achieve broader organisation objectives. Similar to the existing goals feature, businesses will be able to define the key results and initiatives by which the success of the organisation objective will be measured. Visibility of the org objectives is key, with organisation objectives evolving and changing over time; having these recorded in a central area for your team to refer back to allows the whole organisation to always be across any changes to your business priorities.
How will employees interact with our Organisation Objectives?
In the first iteration of this feature, employees will be able to view the organisation objectives set by business leaders. This visibility alone will help to foster a cohesive vision of the business goals. Department heads and employees will also be able to set their own individual goals aligned to the wider org objectives and view progress towards the strategic goals over time.
Employees can also align their own goals with the org objectives to create business alignment.
