To use rotating templates in WFM Cloud, the feature must be enabled by an administrator. Before doing this, consider whether your team have any rolling templates in Back-Office that are still in use.
If you have not used Rotating (Rolling) Templates before, you can simply enable the feature as per below - no migration of templates will occur.
Enabling rotating templates in WFM Cloud will
migrate any rolling templates from Back-Office, to be used in Template Manager (in WFM Cloud)
allow you to create, manage and generate rotating templates in Template Manager
disable rolling template access in Back-Office.
Enable Rotating Templates
- When you're ready to turn on this feature, ask an admin to go to Admin Config > System Settings > Roster / Roster Templates and find the "Enable Rotating Templates" button at the bottom of the page.
- Clicking this will open a prompt to confirm that you are ready. This is because any existing rolling templates in the Back-Office product will be automatically migrated upon proceeding.
Once complete, any migrated Back-Office templates will be available for editing in Template Manager. They will no longer be accessible from Back-Office.
