Demand Planning - Agenda

Purpose

These sessions are designed to equip key users with the knowledge and understanding
required set up and utilise Demand Planning via the Humanforce Web Employee Rostering.

Objective

• Understand how Demand Planning module works end to end
• How to configure Feed Setup
• How to configure Feed Upload
• How to configure Rules

As a standard practice we schedule 2 hours per session. Demand Planning requires 2 sessions, preferably we book these a couple of days apart, if not longer.

Shorter sessions have proven to be highly effective:

• Attendees can fully focus for a limited time
• No need to block your full day for training
• You have time in between sessions to review, practice, test, etc.

Key Participants

• System Administrators and Payroll Officers responsible for training new managers
• Team Leaders and Operational Managers

Prerequisites

• All participants have been able to successfully logon to Humanforce
• Participants have an in-depth working knowledge of what their demand based rostering processes and requirements.
• System Administrators/Payroll Officers have attended Administration Training and are able to support managers who attend this session
• Team Leaders/Operational Managers have attended Operations Training
• Humanforce database has been configured with Location Department and Role structures.
   
• Prior to session 2, ensure you have a Demand Feed Files to upload prior to/or in session

This session is ideally delivered as a hands-on session for users to practice the activities they will be undertaking in Humanforce. For you to get the most out of these remote training sessions Humanforce makes the following recommendations.

1. Ensure you know your Humanforce log-in details, and have tested them prior to the session
2. Ensure you have a stable internet connection
3. Take yourself away from your desk/phone to limit distractions
4. Gather in a room together with a tv/projector to share the trainers screen and have your own laptops to follow along with. Otherwise, have at least two screens available
