Add a Rate Override to a Timesheet in Humanforce Payroll
Rate overrides can be applied, using either a Rate Set (if Rate Sets are used) or a flat rate.
To add a Rate Override to a Timesheet:
- Go to Pay Processing > Pay Process > Timesheets or search Timesheets in the menu search bar
- Select the relevant Payroll from the drop-down
- Start typing the employee number or name and select the relevant person
- Click on the employee's timesheet to open it
- At the bottom of the timesheet, click Multi Costing
- Click on the +icon in the List of Time Slice header row.
- Enter in the Date and Times for the Rate Override.
- If Rate Sets are used and you want to override the current rate with a specific Rate Set, then select the rate set from the Rate Set Override drop down box.
- Or select the rate type from the Rate Override and then enter in the Rate Amount Override
- Click Create. The override will show in the List of Time Slice, and the Pay Element breakdown on the timesheet.
- Repeat steps above as needed, then click Save.
