Follow this guide to create a new timesheet for an employee in the Humanforce Work or Humanforce (Legacy) mobile app.
Managers can use this feature to manually add shifts if an employee forgot to clock in or if a shift needs to be recorded outside of the roster.
Steps
- Open the Humanforce mobile app.
- In the
Work app, go to
Manager > Timesheets.
- In the
Legacy app, go to
Menu >
Switch to Manager Mode >
Authorisation.
- In the
- Select a date from the
Calendar to see timesheets for that day.
- Tap
Add (Work app) or the + button (Legacy app).
- Tap Employee name, then search or scroll to find the employee. Tap their name to select them.
- The employee’s default details (such as Location, Department, and Role) will pre-populate.
- Enter the shift details:
- Start date / End date – Select the shift dates.
- Start time / End time – Enter when the shift began and ended.
- Net length is automatically calculated.
- (Optional) Turn the Authorised toggle on to authorise while creating (if permissions allow).
- (Optional) Expand each section to add more detail:
- Details – Adjust Location, Department, Role, Shift Type (e.g. Normal, Annual Leave), Area, Event, Function, or Period.
- Breaks – Add one or more breaks, including start/end times, and mark as Paid if applicable.
- Allowances – Add allowances (e.g. travel or meal) with type and quantity.
- Attachments – Upload files such as medical certificates.
- Comments – Add notes for reference, payroll, or audit purposes.
- Tap Save timesheet (Work app) or Create (Legacy app).
The new timesheet will appear in the list under Unauthorised (unless you authorised during creation) until it is reviewed and approved.
Next steps
Once the new timesheet is created, it must be authorised before payment.
