Humanforce WFM streamlines employee onboarding through the Humanforce (legacy) mobile app. New hires can complete their personal details, tax, banking, and qualification info, and now, for Australian customers, select their superannuation fund through a new SuperAPI-powered step.
The integration with SuperAPI replaces the paper-based Superannuation Standard Choice Form with a secure, digital form that is submitted, verified, and stored automatically.
This feature reduces manual handling, speeds up compliance, and ensures a smoother experience for new hires and onboarding managers.

Enable SuperAPI onboarding
To use SuperAPI during onboarding, an admin must configure the employer's default super fund in Humanforce WFM. If these details are missing or invalid, the system will fall back to the legacy super choice form.

Hiring managers begin onboarding as usual, using the standard process. Once the employee receives their onboarding email, they will be guided through the updated super selection step in the legacy mobile app.

Employees follow the onboarding flow to complete their details. A new Superannuation step now appears, powered by SuperAPI. Employees can:
- Use their existing super fund
- Join the employer's default fund
- Enter details for a self-managed super fund (SMSF)
Once signed and submitted, the form is securely sent to SuperAPI for processing. The onboarding flow continues while SuperAPI finalises the submission in the background.

Review and approve the employee's onboarding
Managers review submitted onboarding details as normal, but the super choice form is no longer displayed during the review. It is handled entirely through SuperAPI.
Once approved and processed by SuperAPI, the signed super form is automatically added to:
Management > Employee > Employee Management - Employment > Signed Documents

- If employer super details are not configured, the system will revert to the legacy superannuation form.
