Solution Attempt: Enable "Local network access" for your Humanforce page.
There are several reasons your kiosk might show 'HFLS Not Found'.
Chrome v142.0.7444.59 (released October 28th, 2025) and later versions create a problem with HFLS kiosks that doesn't go away on device reset, or reinstallation of HFLS.
The newest Chrome versions disable Local network access by default. To manually enable it, you can use the little settings icon by the address bar, or navigate to the site settings in chrome://settings/content
After enabling that permission, you may get the error "Machine unregistered with server" but at that point the problem is reduced to one previously solved:
Go the registration screen and click "Submit." If everything else is in order, you should see the scanner working again when you log out.
