Overview
The Application Screening Questions dashboard shows how candidates are answering the screening questions attached to your job applications. It brings together each candidate's answers, their application status, and job details in a single table, so you can review responses to a specific screening template and check how many candidates are completing the application process.
This dashboard is a single page — there are no tabs.
It's most useful for Hiring Managers, Recruiters and Recruitment Managers who want to export a spreadsheet with answers to screening questions for a specific job vacancy or job application template.
Note: This dashboard requires you to select a screening template before it shows any data. Use the Screening Job Application Template Name filter to choose your organisation's template — until you do, the dashboard defaults to a test template and shows no real applications.
Key metrics
Open Jobs – The count of open job vacancies using the selected screening template.
Applications – The count of candidates who have answered screening questions for the selected template.
Unique Screening Questions – The count of distinct questions that make up the selected screening template.
Application Completion Rate – The percentage of candidates who have progressed past the Application Started status, out of everyone who started an application for the selected template.
Understanding the screening table
The Application Screening Data table is the core of this dashboard. For every job vacancy and candidate, it lays out each screening question as a column and shows the candidate's answer as the value, colour-coded by answer.
Each row combines:
- Job vacancy details – Job Vacancy Category, Job Vacancy Title, Job Vacancy Custom Code
- Candidate details – Connected Profile Name, Connected Profile Gender, Connected Profile Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Job Candidate Base Status, Job Candidate Custom Status
Each column is a screening question from the selected template, shown in the order it appears on the application. The value in each cell is the candidate's answer to that question.
Note: Only candidates who have answered at least one question for the selected screening template appear on this dashboard — this applies to the table and to all four KPI tiles. A candidate who applied to a job with no screening template, or a different template to the one selected, won't appear anywhere on the page.

Filters and navigation
Use the filters at the top of the dashboard to focus on a template, job, or person. Filters apply across the whole page.
- Screening Job Application Template Name – Selects the screening template to review. This filter is mandatory and only one template can be selected at a time.
- Date – Sets the reporting window. Defaults to the last 24 months.
- Job Vacancy Status – Focuses on jobs at a particular stage. Defaults to Open, but you can change or clear it.
- Job Vacancy Custom Code – Focuses on a specific job by its custom code.
- Hiring Manager Name – Focuses on jobs owned by a specific hiring manager.
- Recruiter Name – Focuses on jobs owned by a specific recruiter.
Tips for using this dashboard
- If you want to see how candidates are answering questions across multiple job vacancies, use the Job Application Template Name filter to get started. If you're only looking to see the answers for a specific job vacancy, use the Job Vacancy Custom Code filter.
- Compare Applications with Application Completion Rate to see whether candidates are finishing a template, not just starting it.
- Use Open Jobs alongside the Job Vacancy Status filter to check that only genuinely open roles are included in your review.
- Use Hiring Manager Name or Recruiter Name to review the screening answers for one person's roles.
