Enabling Permissions/Access Levels
Various permissions control what fields a user can edit and whether a user can even edit a particular timesheet at all.
Most - but not all - permissions related to editing of timesheets fields can be found as sub-permissions of the "TimeTarget Online>View Timesheet Authorisation Page>Allow Editing" section. To find this parent permission:
- Go to Admin > Security Config > Access Levels
- For the relevant Access Level row, click Edit
- Click on the Permissions tab
- Search for 'Allow editing'
- Find and expand the permission under 'TimeTarget Online>View Timesheet Authorisation Page>Allow Editing' permission
The following tables cover many of the permissions controlling which timesheets and what fields a user can edit in the Timesheets page.

Permissions under 'View Timesheet Authorisation Page' parent permission which DO NOT apply to Management>Timesheets>Timesheet in HF Web.
Allow editing > Allow override of Pre-Authorisation threshold
|
This permission does not apply to Timesheet Admin in HF Web. Included here as a reference only. This permission may - in the future - be removed from the 'Timetarget Online>View Timesheet Authorisation Page>Allow Editing' parent. Overrides the "Pre-Auth Threshold (mins)" setting in the 'Org Structure>Locations' screen, allowing users to authorise timesheets within the threshold. The "Pre-Auth Threshold (mins)" setting itself determines the number of minutes after the timesheet has ended (Pay End) in which the timesheet cannot be authorised eg Pre Auth set to 30 mins and Pay End is 14:00. User cannot auth that timesheet until 14:30, unless the 'Allow override of Pre-Authorisation threshold' permission is active. |
Allow editing > Allow Overtime Manager Consent
|
This permission does not apply to Timesheet Admin in HF Web. Included here as a reference only. This permission in the future may -in the future - be removed from the 'Timetarget Online>View Timesheet Authorisation Page>Allow Editing' parent. The manager Overtime Consent process is not implemented in HF Web Timesheets. |
Notes
All permissions under the "Timesheets Screen" and the 'Authorisation Screen" parent permissions are applicable to BackOffice only. They do not relate to HF Web.
