New Features
Upcoming People Permission
We’ve introduced a new functional permission that controls the visibility of profiles with a Company Start Date in the future. This is the people.upcoming_profile.view permission.

Users without this permission will not be able to:
View upcoming staff profiles
Use the “Upcoming Staff” filter in the People Directory
Forward-date the Org Chart
Search for new starters

To ensure a smooth transition, this permission has been added to all existing permission groups by default.
If you’d like to restrict access to future starters, simply remove the permission from relevant groups.
Bug Fixes
We’ve resolved several issues to improve your experience and platform reliability:
- Duplicate people appearing in search dropdowns - Some people appeared multiple times in people search dropdowns (e.g., Contract Subject, Supervisor). This has now been resolved.
- Draft Contract can be issued if its template is deleted - Previously, if a Draft Contract was created and the associated template was later deleted, users were unable to issue the draft. This has now been corrected, so drafts can still be issued even if the original template no longer exists.
- System error when Draft Contract title exceeded 100 characters - A system error occurred when the title of a Draft Contract was longer than 100 characters. This has now been resolved.
