Overview: Workforce Analytics

Workforce Analytics is a powerful reporting module in Humanforce WFM, designed to help you query and visualise your workforce data in flexible, customisable formats. With Workforce Analytics, you can create dashboards and reports to monitor key trends, manage compliance, and make informed decisions.

If you are familiar with BI tools, Workforce Analytics works in a similar way but is built directly into Humanforce WFM for convenience and accuracy.

Capabilities

Access real-time dashboards

Monitor and analyse your workforce data using built-in or custom dashboards.

• View mode: Default mode for general users.

  • Built-in dashboards cover areas like timesheets, payroll, and rostering.

  • Export () dashboards to PDF, JPEG, or Excel formats.

  • Apply filters and parameters () to focus your view.

Customise and build your own reports

Create dashboards tailored to your organisation's needs.

• Edit mode: Requires specific access permissions.

  • Create, edit, and manage () dashboards.

  • Add grids and customise columns.

  • Use conditional formatting to highlight important data.

  • Re-arrange columns and search for specific data fields.

  • Undo/redo actions while building your report.

Tip: You’ll see the mode displayed at the top-right corner of your Workforce Analytics screen.

Control user access

Manage which team members can view or edit reports.

• Access Levels control who can view or design reports.

• Data Explorer permissions manage visibility of data sources like employees, payroll, rosters, and timesheets.

• Navigation Manager ensures Workforce Analytics appears in your management menu: Admin > Nav Manager > Management > Workforce Analytics.

Built-in dashboards (available by default)

Humanforce includes a set of built-in dashboards to help you get started:

• Employee details report

• Payroll summary report

• Roster coverage report

• Timesheet summary report

• Compliance overview

• View built-in dashboards list

Built-in dashboards are system-generated and cannot be overwritten, but you can use them as templates by selecting Save As... to create your own versions.
