Custom navigation items allow for links to other websites directly from the Humanforce website. These can be shown in any of the menus (Employee, Management, HRIS or Reports).
Access Level Permissions
Ensure the appropriate permissions have been selected prior to creating custom nav items.

Creating a new link
Select the Admin Section from the home screen.
Under Administration Configuration, select Custom Nav Items
Select Add new record.
Edit fields as required.
Menu Group – allows the link to be placed under the Employee, Management, HRIS or Reports tab on the main screen.
Label – name you would like the link to appear as.
Link URL – website URL.
Open in – allows the option to open in a new window, new tab, or in the current window.
Sequence - if there are multiple links, this will determine the order.
Active – enabling this will allow the link to be visible.
Example using Google as the link under the Employee section on the main screen.
Adding Emojis
To make Custom Navigation items stand out in a menu, you can also add an emoji. In the label field, right click and select Emoji.
Select the emoji you would like to use.
Once you save the Custom Nav item, it will display in the menu with the emoji.
