This article shows you how to adjust the language settings in your web browser to ensure dates and currencies display properly in your Humanforce account. It covers the steps for:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge
When using Chrome or Edge, the display format for dates and currencies is controlled by the browser's language settings.
- In Chrome or Edge, click the 3-dot menu button in the top-right and select Settings.
- Use the search bar to find "Language".
- Under "Languages", ensure the appropriate language is listed at the top. If not, click the 3-dot menu next to it and select Move to the top.
- Refresh Humanforce, and dates/currencies should now display in the format for your preferred language.
Mozilla Firefox
For Firefox, you'll adjust the "alternatives" for the primary language.
- In Firefox, click the 3-line menu button and go to Settings.
- Search for "Language" and click Set Alternatives...
- Add your desired language if needed, then move it to the top of the list.
- Click OK to save changes.
- If prompted, restart Firefox to apply the new language preferences.
- After restarting, dates/currencies in Humanforce should now display in the format for your preferred language.
