Change date and/or currency format in browser

This article shows you how to adjust the language settings in your web browser to ensure dates and currencies display properly in your Humanforce account. It covers the steps for:

• Google Chrome
• Mozilla Firefox

Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge

When using Chrome or Edge, the display format for dates and currencies is controlled by the browser's language settings.

1. In Chrome or Edge, click the 3-dot menu button in the top-right and select Settings.
2. Use the search bar to find "Language".
3. Under "Languages", ensure the appropriate language is listed at the top. If not, click the 3-dot menu next to it and select Move to the top.
4. Refresh Humanforce, and dates/currencies should now display in the format for your preferred language.

Mozilla Firefox

For Firefox, you'll adjust the "alternatives" for the primary language.

1. In Firefox, click the 3-line menu button and go to Settings.
2. Search for "Language" and click Set Alternatives...
3. Add your desired language if needed, then move it to the top of the list.
   
4. Click OK to save changes.
5. If prompted, restart Firefox to apply the new language preferences.
6. After restarting, dates/currencies in Humanforce should now display in the format for your preferred language.
