Creating a Template
To create a department roster template in Humanforce Web, you will need to build the roster out first. Once you have created a roster you want to save as a template, click on the + next to Templates.
Give your roster template a name to help you identify it easily. Click Create to save your template.
Note: A Master Template can be used as a source of hours when an employee is
applying for leave in the future. If there was no generated roster for when an
employee was applying for leave, they could use their Roster Template Hours
instead. This option would need to be pre-configured by your administrator.
There can only be one Master Template for each Location-Department-Period roster.
Loading a Template
In the roster screen, click the Templates button to load an existing template.
Select the template you want to load.
Click Apply to load the template into your roster.
Updating a Template
Open the Department Rostering screen to a date range that isn't being used (usually far enough in the past that you won't mess up any existing rosters) and click the Templates button.
Select the template to update and click Apply to load it into your roster.
You can now make the required changes to your template.
To update the template click the + sign next to the Templates button and select the template.
You will notice the Create button has now changed to Update. Clicking it will update your template.
