Follow this guide to create, edit, and bulk update pay rates in Humanforce WFM for use in cost calculation and payroll exports.
If your organisation has an integration between Humanforce and your payroll system, updates to pay rates should be completed in the payroll system. These changes will sync automatically with Humanforce on the next integration cycle, and the following tasks may not be required in Humanforce.
Part 1: Access the Pay Rates screen
- Go to Admin > Award Config > Rates.
- The Pay Rates screen will open, displaying all existing rate records.
You will perform all rate-related tasks from this screen.
Part 2: Create a new pay rate
- On the Pay Rates screen, click + Add new record.
- Enter a Name and an Export Code (if required).
- Enter the hourly Rate value.
- Provide a Charge Out Rate if using charge-out reporting from Workforce Analytics.
- Click
Save.
The new rate is now available for assignment to employee roles.
Part 3: Update the pay rate name or export code
- On the Pay Rates screen, click
Edit next to the relevant rate.
- Update the Name or Export Code, as needed.
- Click
Save.
The changes will apply immediately and be reflected wherever the pay rate is referenced.
Part 4: Update the hourly rate value
- On the Pay Rates screen, click Payrate Revisions beside the rate you want to update.
- Click + Add Revision or
Edit an existing revision.
- Enter the updated hourly Rate value, Charge Out Rate (if required), and choose an Effective Date.
- Click
Save.
- Click Close.
This revision will be applied to all employee roles using this rate from the effective date. Rosters and timesheets from that date onward will be costed based on the new rate.
