Follow this guide to sync your published and confirmed shifts from the Humanforce Work app to your personal mobile calendar. This helps you manage your time more effectively, even when you’re logged out of the app.
Steps
- Open the
Humanforce Work app.
- Go to
Profile >
Calendar settings.
- Managers: go to
More > Profile > Calendar settings.
- Managers: go to
- Tap Connect to calendar.
- On iOS, the Apple Calendar app will open and ask if you’d like to subscribe.
- On Android, copy the URL and open the link to Google Calendar web app to add your calendar subscription.
- (Optional) To use a different calendar app:
- From Calendar settings, under Copy and paste your calendar link, tap Copy.
- Open your preferred calendar app and paste the webcal URL into the Subscribe or Add calendar section.
- You can also share this URL with someone else (e.g., a family member) to give them visibility of your shifts.
- (Optional) To stop sharing or refresh access, tap Regenerate link. Confirm the action to generate a new URL and revoke access to the old one.
Once connected, your confirmed shifts appear in your chosen calendar. You’ll know it has worked if the shift times in Humanforce Work match those shown in your personal calendar app.
Additional information
- Calendar sync includes only published, confirmed shifts.
- Unpublished shifts, unconfirmed shifts, shift offers, bids, leave, or availability are not included.
- This is a one-way sync from Humanforce Work to your calendar. You cannot edit shifts in your calendar.
- Shifts appear from 10 days in the past to 30 days in the future.
- Updates may be delayed because Apple and Google control refresh frequency (usually every 5–15 minutes).
- If you regenerate the link, anyone with the old link will lose access.
- In Google calendar, if shift times are incorrect, open Google calendar (via web browser) > Settings > Time zone, and confirm that it has been set correctly.
