Manage notification settings in the Humanforce mobile app (Work & Legacy)

Follow this guide to manage your notification preferences in the Humanforce Work or Humanforce (Legacy) mobile app. Notification settings allow you to enable or disable alerts for specific functions, such as shifts, timesheets, and leave.

Steps

1. Open the Humanforce mobile app.
   • In the Work app, tap Profile from the bottom menu, then tap Notification settings.
     • Managers: Go to More > Profile.
   • In the Legacy app, tap the Menu icon in the top-left corner, select Settings, then tap Alerts Push Notifications.
2. Browse the list of notification categories.
   • Categories may include:
     • Messages – manager notifications, birthday/anniversary reminders
     • Clocking – clock-out reminders
     • Shifts – shift notifications
     • Roster – roster notifications
     • Timesheets – timesheet notifications
     • Availability – availability notifications
     • Leave – leave notifications
     • Profile – updates and approval notifications
     • HRIS and Mobile App Onboarding (Legacy app)
   • In the Legacy app, available categories depend on whether you’re in Employee Mode or Manager Mode.
3. Tap a category to open its settings.
4. Toggle the switch beside each category to enable or disable notifications.
   • Enabled categories display with the switch turned on (blue or green).
   • Disabled categories display with the switch turned off (grey).
5. Return to the Notification settings menu to adjust other categories as needed.

Your changes are applied immediately. Notifications for the selected category will either start appearing (if enabled) or stop (if disabled).

Additional information

• These settings control push notifications triggered by Humanforce WFM alerts. They do not affect automatic system notifications (e.g. Shift offers, leave status updates).
• Available categories depend on your organisation’s configuration. If you don’t see a category, it may not be enabled for your access level.
