Follow this guide to enable or disable two-step login (2FA) in the Humanforce Work or Humanforce (Legacy) mobile app. Two-step login adds an extra layer of security by requiring a verification code sent to your phone in addition to your password.
Part 1: Enable two-step login
- Open the Humanforce mobile app.
- In the
Work app, tap
Profile >
Security settings > Manage Two-Step Verification.

- In the
Legacy app, tap the
Menu icon >
Settings > Security Settings
- In the
- Toggle on Two-step login (Work app) or Two factor authentication (Legacy app).
- In the Work app, tap Next to proceed past the details page.
- Enter your mobile number in the format + and country code (e.g., +61 for Australia).
- Tap Send code / Enable.
- Enter the 6-digit SMS code sent to your phone.
- In the Legacy app, tap Next.
You’ll see a confirmation message and return to the Security settings page with the toggle showing as enabled (blue or green). At your next login, you must enter both your password and the SMS code.
Part 2: Disable two-step login
- Open the Humanforce mobile app and go to Security settings.
- In the
Work app, tap
Profile >
Security settings > Manage Two-Step Verification.

- In the
Legacy app, tap the
Menu icon >
Settings > Security Settings
- In the
- Toggle off Two-step login (Work app) or Two factor authentication (Legacy app).
- In the Work app, tap Send code to proceed past the details page.
- Enter the 6-digit SMS code sent to your phone.
- In the Legacy app, tap Next.
You’ll see a message confirming two-step login is deactivated. The toggle will show as disabled (grey). You will only need your password at future logins.
Part 3: Change the phone number linked to Two factor authentication (Legacy app)
- Open the Humanforce
Legacy app
- Tap the
Menu icon >
Settings > Security Settings
- Select change phone number.
- Enter the 6-digit SMS code sent to your current phone and tap Next.
- Enter your new phone number in the format + and country code and tap Next.
- Enter the 6-digit SMS code sent to your new phone and tap Next.
Your new phone number is saved, and SMS verification codes will be sent to it from now on.
Additional information
- If you don’t receive the SMS code, wait 30 seconds and tap Resend code.
- You can also use alternative login methods such as PIN or biometric login.
