Follow this guide to set up a PIN or biometric login (Face ID or Touch ID) in the Humanforce Work or Humanforce (legacy) mobile app. This adds an extra layer of security when accessing your account.
Steps
- Open the Humanforce app and go to Security Settings:
- In the
Work app, tap
Profile >
Security Settings > Enable PIN and Biometric log in

- In the
Legacy app, tap the
Menu icon >
Settings > Security Settings
- In the
- Toggle PIN on.
- Set a 4-digit PIN. This acts as a fallback if biometric login fails.
- You can update your PIN later using Change PIN.
- Toggle Face ID or Touch ID on if you want to use biometrics.
- The app will follow your device’s Face/Touch ID settings.
- Accept the on-screen security warning if prompted.
- Only your own biometric data should be enrolled on the device.
The next time you open the app, you'll be prompted to log in using your selected method.
Additional information
- PIN and biometric login are optional user settings. Employers can’t enforce them.
- If biometric login fails, the app will fall back to your password (Work app) or PIN (legacy app).
- You still need to remember your app password in case you’re signed out.
- To update or disable biometric login, return to the Security Settings menu.
- If you’ve forgotten your password, follow Reset your Humanforce mobile app password.
