For extra security, you can set up your Humanforce mobile app to use a PIN, Face recognition, or Touch ID to login. This can be important protection if you do not lock your phone or if you want to prevent someone other than yourself from viewing personal information such as your timesheets and pay slips that may be present in the app.
Note: Turning on a PIN or biometric option for the Humanforce mobile app is a user
preference at this time and cannot be made mandatory by an employer.
Set up
In the Humanforce mobile app, go to the main menu > Settings > Security Settings:
(Do not select Face Recognition, as this is a way of registering for kiosks that use face recognition but is not used at all within the mobile app.)
Toggle the PIN to on and set the four-digit PIN you want to use. If you only wish to use a PIN, you can stop after this step. However, if you want to use the Face/Touch ID on your phone (assuming your device has this functionality), also toggle the Face/Touch ID on. This will automatically use the setting configured on your phone, so no additional set up is needed in the Humanforce App.
Note: You will need to set up a PIN before you can do Face/Touch ID as this is your backup
if the biometric option fails.
If there are issues with your biometrics, you will need to review support for your device.
Logging in
Once your Face/Touch ID has been activated, when you open the Humanforce app your phone will use the biometric option you have chosen.
If the biometric option does not work, you will be directed to use your PIN. If you only set up the PIN option, this will be your default.
Note: Even with these options set up, you'll want to remember your password as the system
may fully sign you out when your employer makes changes to your permissions or if you
haven't logged in for a long time. If you do forget your password, you can always reset it
from the login page.
