We are transitioning all users from Humanforce (Legacy) to the new Humanforce Work (New) app. Humanforce Work (New) is now feature-complete compared to Humanforce (Legacy), with several enhancements and new features to improve the mobile experience for employees.
This guide outlines what is changing, how you can prepare for the transition, and where to find additional resources and support.
Customers will receive plenty of notice before their transition period begins. We will contact you directly when it is time for your employees to move to the new app.
In the meantime, we encourage you to download the app and start exploring. You can use Humanforce Work (New) alongside Humanforce (Legacy) until your organisation transitions fully.

Update on app names
To reduce confusion, we’ve updated the names of our apps:
Humanforce Work (New) — The new app (blue icon).
Humanforce (Legacy) — The old app (yellow icon). Often referred to as "Classic" app
This change ensures it’s clear which app employees should be using.
Why transition to Humanforce Work (New)?
Humanforce Work (New) offers a more modern, user-friendly mobile experience, along with ongoing feature development:
- Improved design — A modern, intuitive interface for easier navigation.
- Modern technology — Faster performance, better reliability, and enhanced features.
- Enhanced features — New capabilities, including group messaging and team view.
- In-app feedback — Share your thoughts directly from the app.
- Same login credentials — No need to update your credentials.
- Shared backend logic — See the same shifts, leave, and data as you do in Humanforce (Legacy).
By transitioning now, you’ll gain access to the latest workforce management tools while avoiding disruption when Humanforce (Legacy) is deprecated.
